Motul Classic SAE 50 is a high-quality mineral monograde engine oil specifically formulated for classic and vintage engines. Designed for vehicles built roughly between 1900 and 1950, it provides period-correct lubrication while incorporating modern oil technology to improve reliability and engine protection.

The oil uses a low-detergent mineral formulation, making it fully compatible with traditional engine materials such as paper, felt, and fabric gaskets commonly used in early engines. This helps prevent debris and deposits from circulating through the lubrication system while maintaining correct lubrication characteristics for older engine designs.

The SAE 50 viscosity provides strong oil film strength at higher temperatures, which is beneficial for older engines with larger internal tolerances and lower oil pressures compared to modern engines.
