Designed by Nismo, Nissan’s motorsport division, this radiator cap increases system pressure compared to standard OEM caps, helping prevent coolant boiling and vaporisation under demanding conditions.
The cap features a 1.3 bar pressure rating, higher than typical factory caps (around 0.9 bar). This higher pressure raises the coolant boiling point by roughly 6°C, improving heat management and maintaining consistent cooling performance during spirited driving or track use.
Compatible with many Nissan vehicles using the 45mm small radiator cap size, it’s a popular upgrade for Skyline, Silvia, Fairlady Z, and other performance platforms.
